Someone New...Hello Everyone!

Hello everyone! You don't know me...yet. But I know all about...you. Your schemes, and (most importantly) your lies and half-truths. Yes, Mr. Carter, I know all of your 'little' secrets: the ones that you are trying so very hard to hide from them. Even from the few who are so deluded to actually think that you can be trusted. Either you tell them, or I will. And if that happens: let's just say that your council might be a bit displeased as well. We will meet again, no matter what precautions you try to take. I will be present here...until death comes for his final dance. I hope you like your new profile picture Mr. Carter, I took my time selecting it. I feel that it is oddly...appropriate based on some of your 'research' and 'theories.'

Another message for our...ingenious 'researcher'. Prizes (possible) for the runner who can decode these.

  1. It says,

"And one more thing: check your blogger drafts section. I've left some messages for you, Mr. Carter. You'll find them...enlightening."

    Now what do I get?

    1. Oh, and it's from a guy called Jack.

WAIT, he LINKED to a translator??? The task could've been that much easier????

      Delete
    2. Yes I did, I didn't want the job to be too difficult. After all, without those of you who read his blogs, Mr. Carter would be in a very different situation. And two points for you, the prize is...Mr. Carter can't be trusted. In fact, I would question everything that he has told you.

    3. Why not. He'll be busy for a while anyways. His precious council is going to have a wake-up call at their next meeting. On topic, Mr. Carter has never been told to keep his research to himself. He used that as an excuse, because of its volatile nature. He knows that you all, especially Ms. Med, would argue with him about its use. And the council is not as happy a group as he would lead you to believe.--Jack

    4. Can you describe this "volatile nature", sir?

      Delete
    5. I believe you've gotten your two points worth. Don't worry though, Mr. Carter will explain himself. In fact, it is volatile enough to be the main cause of the council's...end. But, until he's back, I will be making use of his blog.

  2. ANOTHER crazy hacker?

First Mr. Incognito, now Carter. Who's next?

Ooh! Your a 'Jack of all trades' aren't you?

    1. Crazy hacker?

      Must be Wednesday.

    2. Crazy? I am insulted by that. No, I am the sane one. You are all the insane ones. Always running, looking for answers, never accepting the inevitable. No, I think of it as enlightened. --Jack

    3. Hey, news flash: I'm not running. I am currently sitting in my home typing this.

Death may be inevitable, but I don't think death by faceless octopus was in the plan for most of those people.

      Delete
    4. No it was most certainly not. But, things happen. There would not be life without death, does the way we die truly matter?

      Delete
    5. I would have to say no.

But the thing is, the Slender Man doesn't just KILL them. He torments them, drives them insane, tortures them.

And that's not death. That's...pure evil.

      Delete
    6. Pure evil? Do you consider fire evil? It kills very slowly, a slow torturous death. Are tornadoes evil? How about earthquakes, tsunamis, car accidents, gas leaks, and predatory animals?

      Delete
    7. He has a point. Apparently the most painful thing in the world is being burned to death.

To take it a step further, could we not argue that us humans are capable for far more deaths of our own than the Slender Man could ever dream of? Have we not made whole species extinct?

      Delete
    8. Precisely. He isn't necessarily evil. He's a force of nature. Uncontrollable, unpredictable, is it his fault that his role kills?

      Delete
    9. ...maybe.

But if he's a force of nature, how the heck does he have SENTIENCE?

Does a tornado chase after a specific target? Does fire suddenly decide, "I'm going to attack that little girl and burn her hair"?

      Delete
  3. No idea. There are many things that we will never learn about him.

  4. Um...ah...

You wouldn't happen to be Jack of All, would you?

    1. Is he? I have more questions for him if he is.

    2. *Sigh*

Jack is an entity of questionable origin. He appears to grant the wishes of those he comes into contact with but skews the wishes to cause as much chaos as possible while making the wish a reality, for his own enjoyment.
He takes the form of a human male with a red right hand, be it a glove or an actual red hand, though whether he really is human is up for debate. Jack also seems to work in conjunction with the Fears, using them as a means to create more chaos or lead them to new prey. He is aligned only to himself though, the lone trickster that is Jack.

Trust me, you do NOT want to talk to this guy. There's ALWAYS a price to be payed.

    3. 'Jack of All,' I can not confirm or deny that. After all, being mysterious is an...interesting quality.

      Delete
    4. And a price? I have not asked for anything, but your ears (or in this case eyes). And chaos can be interesting to watch, especially when I can join in.

    5. @Rose - Yeah I know who Jack of All is. And I'm not going to ask for a trade of him.

      @"Jack" - Give us a clue? Plleeaase?? :)

  5. A clue. 'Clue-a piece of evidence that leads one toward the solution of a problem.' I do not know if that would be interesting. Maybe I might on my next full post.
